Following the launch of a Livelihoods Development Program in November 2023 to support Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), MaolKeki Foundation (MKF) in partnership with Anaha Trust, Sattva and Matai Society trained a number of IDPs on entrepreneurship and distributed sewing machines and kits to knit, make candles and incense sticks. The work is supported by the North American Manipur Association (NAMA), Manipuri Weddings and the Classic Group of Hotels.

The first phase of our campaign to support children at various relief camps with educational materials like school bags, notebooks, books, geometry boxes, pens and pencils as well as educational toys, soft toys, sanitary pads, and more has come to a close with a visit to three relief camps in Bishnupur district, a district that has seen one of the highest numbers of Internally Displaced Persons...However, we are grateful to have supported 425 children in total at the three districts we targeted: 282 in Bishnupur, 62 in Kakching and 81 in Imphal West.

MaolKeki Foundation (MKF) was a participant at the just-concluded Civil 20 Summit in Jaipur, Rajasthan. C20 is one of the official engagement groups of the G20, whose presidency is currently held by India, and provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) like the MaolKeki Foundation to voice the people’s aspirations to world leaders...16 Working Groups that had been organising multiple engagements around the world gave their policy recommen dations to take to the G20 later this year.
